David is a partner in the firm's Commercial Tax Services Practice with over 30 years of experience in public accounting and corporate tax leadership.

David's expertise centers on developing sophisticated corporate tax structures and strategies, coordinating with CFOs, CEOs, and tax professionals worldwide to minimize federal, foreign, state, and local taxes. He has implemented new tax accounting methods for inventory, fixed assets, and accruals, which resulted in immediate cash tax savings of $40 million. David's experience also includes helping clients with complex tax and business strategies for acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings, and he has established SOX 404-compliant tax processes and disclosure controls.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, David was a tax partner at a firm serving middle-market businesses.
