John Driessen is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s New York City office with over a decade of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services. As a part of the firm’s Commercial Tax Services Practice, he works closely with clients in a variety of industries including real estate, technology, cryptocurrency, and digital assets.

John works with his clients to help them achieve their personal goals. Ranging from individual business owners to global enterprises, John assists his clients throughout every stage of their investment lifecycle with elegant, cost-effective strategies. As a member of the firm’s Technology Industry Practice and Digital Asset Industry Practice, John has a deep understanding of the industries and in conjunction with his knowledge of corporate and partnership taxation, he offers a unique, forward-thinking, and pragmatic perspective.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, John spent his time studying computer programming languages and blockchain technologies.
