Matt is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Audit and Attest Practice with over 18 years of public accounting experience. His work has spanned industries such as construction, professional services, manufacturing, and distribution, with a particular focus on meeting the unique financial needs of construction and trades businesses.
Matt is skilled at guiding companies through complex accounting challenges, ensuring they are always audit-ready and equipped to meet industry regulations. His expertise also includes handling audit and compliance services for a wide range of employee benefit plans, such as 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit pensions, and employee stock ownership plans. With his strong background in these areas, Matt helps clients navigate intricate accounting issues with clarity and confidence.
Previously, Matt was a partner at LitmanGerson Associates, LLP (LGA), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2026. Prior to that role, Matt worked at an international accounting firm, where he provided audit, assurance, and business consulting services to privately held, owner-managed, and private equity-backed companies.
