Shawna is a partner in the Audit and Attest Practice and has extensive accounting and auditing experience in various industries, particularly working with companies with both domestic and international operations. In addition to providing auditing and financial reporting services, she offers guidance on operations and internal controls of businesses.

Shawna has almost 20 years of experience providing traditional accounting services to privately held companies in a broad range of industries including technology, manufacturing and distribution, media, and franchising. Her experience includes designing and executing attest engagements (audit, reviews, compilations) in compliance with applicable standards. Additionally, she specializes in financial forecasting, breakeven analysis, and cash flow projections to assist companies understand their upcoming cash flow needs. In 2020 and 2022, Shawna was nominated as a “Top 50 Women in Business” by Long Island Business News for her accomplishments in public accounting.

Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Shawna worked at a national accounting firm as a partner as well as two regional accounting firms.
