Lauren Levine is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s tax practice based out of the New York City office. Lauren is an experienced professional with over twenty years of accounting and tax experience.
Lauren is a CPA and provides a variety of accounting and tax services to clients, including tax compliance and consulting for partnerships, consolidated C corporations, S corporations, and individual clients in industries that include hedge funds, private equity funds, apparel, media, manufacturers, healthcare, fulfillment, and computer security. She reviews federal, state, and local tax returns, and advises clients on state nexus for both income and sales taxes. She has experience in advising clients regarding international tax issues, reviewing ASC 740 income tax provisions, and managing income tax audits. Lauren is an experienced supervisor and has participated in mentoring and training staff.
Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Lauren served as a director with CBIZ MHM, LLC and as a senior tax manager at EisnerAmper LLP. She started her career at Ernst & Young LLP.

Lauren loves all team sports, as a spectator and a participant. She played on the varsity tennis team at Cornell University, traveled to Japan with the team, and taught tennis. She follows the Yankees, NY Giants, and Knicks. Lauren enjoys meeting new people from other cultures. She has spent time in Copenhagen, Seoul, London, Tel Aviv, Madrid, Aruba, and Tokyo. Lauren is an animal lover and parent of Snoop Cat, and hopes to visit the Galapagos Islands and go on an African safari. She is especially close to her nephew and two nieces, and attends their baseball games, hockey games, track meets, and dance recitals.
