Stressful Tax Season Drawing to a Close After Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

Citrin Cooperman Partner and Tax Practice Leader Joe Bublé spoke with Accounting Today's Michael Cohn about the difficulties he is seeing with the new tax law. 

“There are a lot of unanswered questions and complexities in the new law,” he said. “The IRS has issued a lot of regulations, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions. More and more, as you try to apply those regulations to specific client situations, more questions arise. We’re finding it difficult and clients are finding it difficult. It’s taking a lot longer to do returns because of the new law, and there’s a certain amount of uncertainty.”
