LAGOS
Inside LAGOS' NetSuite Transformation
The journey began with a simple need: greater visibility. LAGOS was operating on a legacy ERP system that couldn’t deliver timely insights into sales, inventory, or financial performance. We introduced a set of intuitive visualizations that unlocked immediate value and sparked a much larger transformation. That initial success led to the adoption of Microsoft Dynamics Customer360, connecting data from Shopify, Zendesk, and Klaviyo to provide a unified view of the end customer. But the vision didn’t stop there.
As LAGOS looked to better understand product data, costs, and supply chain performance, NetSuite emerged as the ideal solution. What started as a targeted implementation for product information management quickly expanded into a full ERP migration. The platform’s potential as a central operational hub became clear and transformative.
LAGOS faced industry-specific challenges, especially when it came to accurately costing items made from precious metals like gold and silver. Their reliance on spreadsheets to manage co-manufacturing and outsourced routing created inefficiencies and increased the risk of errors. We replaced these manual processes with a multi-level bill of materials in NetSuite, integrating real-time market rates and vendor-specific pricing. LAGOS can now calculate true product costs with precision from raw materials to finished goods.
With a worldwide manufacturing network, LAGOS needed a better way to collaborate with partners. We developed a custom vendor portal in NetSuite, enabling real-time communication across product development, purchase orders, outsourced production, and inventory transfers. From early-stage sampling to final delivery, every step is now tracked in NetSuite, enhancing transparency, accuracy, and agility across the supply chain.
Citrin Cooperman integrated LAGOS’ Shopify store with NetSuite, enabling seamless synchronization of ecommerce data into their core system. This integration covers everything from order flows and returns to warehouse operations and shipping creating an end-to-end process.
Additional enhancements include RFID-based inventory tracking, a repair and return workflow linked to customer profiles, and advanced planning tools for financial forecasting. NetSuite’s MRP engine now drives production planning and inventory control across LAGOS' global operations.
The Result: A Digital Platform for Growth
LAGOS now runs on a unified digital platform that supports the full product lifecycle and customer journey. From real-time costing and global vendor collaboration to ecommerce integration and predictive planning, their ERP foundation is designed for scale. This isn’t just a system upgrade.
This project is one of the most complete examples of NetSuite in action for the jewelry industry. It offers a proven blueprint for luxury brands that need better insight, more accurate costing, and tighter operational control.
Refine Your Operations with the Right NetSuite Partner
In today’s unpredictable global trade landscape, jewelry companies face mounting challenges, from rising material costs and shifting tariffs to supplier delays. Real-time vendor collaboration is no longer optional; it’s essential. Integrating supplier data directly into ERP systems gives businesses the visibility and agility to adapt fast and make smarter decisions.
According to our 2025 Manufacturing and Distribution Pulse Survey, 54% of respondents said accessing and analyzing data from suppliers’ ERP systems is critical to staying competitive, now or within the next three to five years. For companies like LAGOS, a vendor-integrated NetSuite environment offers a strategic edge in managing cost volatility and maintaining operational resilience.
