Aki Oshima is a managing director in the firm’s Business Process Outsourcing Practice based out of the Los Angeles metro area. He is an accounting and finance professional with over 20 years of experience in attest, management, and strategic consulting services.

Aki provides a wide variety of accounting, audit preparation, and consulting services to clients in various industries, with an emphasis on serving not-for-profits. He specializes in leading the finance function as an interim chief financial officer (CFO) on outsourced accounting engagements, focusing on process optimization, budgeting and forecasting, facilitating software implementations, and supporting organizations through periods of significant financial transformation.

Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Aki spent over seven years at a regional fractional accounting firm as a senior vice president and director of client service. He has also held a senior finance and accounting position at a mid-cap, international building materials manufacturing company.
