Amy is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s Commercial Tax Services Practice. She has over 20 years of public accounting experience providing a wide range of tax compliance, planning, and consulting services to small- and medium-sized businesses.
Amy has extensive knowledge in the area of corporate taxation and ASC 740, with experience across industries including manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, renewable energy, real estate, and professional services. She has deep expertise in planning for corporate mergers and acquisitions, as well as other restructurings. She also provides international tax planning and compliance services for entities and individuals. In addition, she is very involved in partnership and LLC taxation and assists clients with elections such as §754 in order to generate value for partners and members. Amy also provides valuation services to owners of closely held businesses for gift tax, estate tax, and transactional purposes.
Previously, Amy was a partner at Sharff, Wittmer, Kurtz, Jackson & Diaz (SWKJD), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2026.
