Amyn Gillani is a director in the firm’s Not-For-Profit Practice. For over ten years, Amyn has provided tax services to exempt organizations with a focus on private foundations, colleges and universities, healthcare, and various other types of not-for-profits.
Amyn advises his clients on various subject matters including tax reform, IRS examinations, compliance and reporting requirements, governance, compensation and benefits, unrelated business income tax, hospital community benefit and charity care, mergers and acquisitions, tax due diligence, international activities, Forms 990, 990-PF and 990-T.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Amyn spent a majority of his career at Big 4 firms providing tax compliance and consulting services to colleges and universities, private foundations, as well as, healthcare and other tax-exempt individuals.
