Experience
Chris is a partner at Citrin Cooperman and is based out of the firm’s Owings Mills, MD office. He is an experienced state and local tax consultant who specializes in sales and use tax, real property tax, personal property tax, and unclaimed property.
Chris represents clients ranging from small, privately held companies to Fortune 100 companies across a variety of industries, including, but not limited to, manufacturing, biotech, pharmaceutical, government contracting, technology, financial services, and healthcare. In his 20 plus year state and local tax consulting career, Chris has helped clients navigate the complexities of multistate indirect taxes while securing millions of dollars in refunds and audit reductions.
Previously, Chris served as the director of transaction taxes at a national consulting firm. Most recently, Chris was a director in the State and Local Tax (SALT) Practice at Clearview Group, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2024.

Community Involvement
Chris enjoys volunteering with organizations such as Carry the Load, the Maryland Food Bank, and other local not-for-profit organizations.
Outside the Office
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. You will often find the family at a local racetrack on the weekends. Chris started racing competitive go-karts at a young age and progressed to dirt sprint cars, winning multiple feature events along the way. Chris recently ended his driving career so that he could mentor his sons as they begin their racing careers.
