Daniel is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s Risk Advisory and Compliance Practice with over 15 years of experience in internal audit and compliance and is based out of the firm’s Owings Mills, MD office.

A CPA and CISA, Daniel specializes in providing internal audit and compliance services across a range of industries, including manufacturing, professional services, media, publishing, cannabis, and the not-for-profit and public sectors. He leads information technology (IT) operational audits, cybersecurity assessments, and enterprise risk evaluations. Daniel also supports pre-initial public offering (IPO) companies in establishing IT control programs for Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance and directs fully outsourced IT SOX engagements for large public companies. Additionally, he manages internal process improvement initiatives and oversees project responsibilities for multiple clients.

Before joining Citrin Cooperman, Daniel served as the solution lead for IT risk advisory services at Clearview Group, which joined Citron Cooperman in 2024. Prior to Clearview, he gained valuable experience in the internal audit department of a Fortune 100 company, where he played a key role in planning, leading, and supporting integrated operational audits and system implementations.
