Deepak Nair is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Financial Services Practice. He has extensive experience serving clients ranging from large public investment advisers to start-up alternative asset managers with complex fund structures, investment strategies, and financial instruments.
Deepak has over 15 years of experience providing technical accounting, financial reporting, internal control, investment valuation, and audit services to private equity funds, hedge funds, credit funds, fund of funds, and management companies.
Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Deepak spent 14 years with Deloitte focusing on investment management sector within their financial services industry providing internal control and financial statement audits performed in accordance with PCAOB and U.S. GAAP requirements, including internal controls over financial reporting. Deepak also has experience working on global clients and working with teams across international locations.
