Experience
Eric Prescott is a tax partner with more than 25 years of experience advising clients on a range of business, financial, and accounting issues.
Eric works primarily with small, closely held companies in a diverse range of industries, including wholesale distribution and manufacturing, professional services, architecture, and real estate.
Working closely with business owners and individuals, Eric specializes in helping clients build wealth through various tax-minimization strategies. For his corporate clients, he also consults on entity structuring, acquisitions, succession planning, and other general business matters.
In addition, Eric regularly collaborates with members of his clients’ internal accounting staff and different advisory teams for a full-picture approach to tax strategy. His areas of expertise include retirement plans, employee benefit plans, banking relationships, and business valuations.
Previously, Eric was a partner with the accounting firm Schwartz & Hofflich, LLP, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2010.

Outside the Office
Eric resides in Norwalk, Connecticut with his wife Kathy and their three children Brendon, Kyle, and Olivia. Eric had coached various sports such as lacrosse, basketball, baseball and soccer as his kids were growing up. Now that the kids are older, Eric spends some of his free time watching his daughter Olivia play high school lacrosse at Lauralton Hall in Milford, Connecticut. Eric also enjoys spending time with family and friends, the pool, and vacationing.
