Heather Varner is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s tax practice. Heather advises domestic and international clients on the US federal income tax aspects of complex domestic and cross-border transactions in the renewable energy, retail, technology, and manufacturing industries.

Heather is a member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Tax team and provides US federal income tax consulting services to include tax structuring, tax due diligence, and tax modeling for partnerships, corporations, and private equity funds.

Prior to her joining Citrin Cooperman, Heather was a senior manager for KPMG LLP’s Mergers & Acquisitions tax practice. She has also served in the United States Army.
