Jason is an IT director at Citrin Cooperman with more than 20 years of experience as a web developer. Jason has held multiple IT and IT security roles within finance, government, and healthcare, specializing in building, engineering, and managing programs focused on security operations, incident response, data governance, and vulnerability management.

Jason's expertise includes modernizing security operations, vulnerability management, and data governance programs, with a focus on platform standardization, cost reduction, and automation. As director of cyber incident response and threat intelligence at a not-for-profit Catholic health system, Jason was the primary architect for the threat intelligence program and helped create the Cyber Fusion Center to streamline threat intelligence sharing and prioritize remediation of critical organizational risks.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, he served as a manager for security operations at a not-for-profit healthcare system for the past four years. Program accomplishments include a “best of breed” third-party audit firm for the AI Security and Management program and a 45% improvement in security operations and incident response categories in their NIST RMF maturity. Jason also has several industry certifications from GIAC (GCIH, GCTI, G2700, GCFA, GCFE, GCDA), Microsoft (MCSE, Azure), CompTIA (CASP, A+,Net+,Sec+) and ISC2 (CISSP).
