Joe is a managing director in Citrin Cooperman’s Private Client Services Practice with 15 years of experience.
Joe began his career at a business management firm in Nashville, TN, where he honed his accounting skills by managing books, taxes, and operations for local businesses and startups. These early experiences sparked his passion for entrepreneurship and deepened his appreciation for the vital role accountants play in helping those businesses thrive.
After earning his master’s degree, Joe worked with several public accounting firms in the area before launching a fully remote CPA firm dedicated to small business owners, freelancers, and startups. In 2023, his practice merged with King Business Financial Management (KBFM) where he served as a tax partner, supporting business management clients with comprehensive tax services while overseeing accounting and tax planning for entrepreneurs in the music industry and beyond. KBFM joined Citrin Cooperman in 2025.
