Experience
John Cavallone is an audit partner with over three decades of experience. He specializes in the financial services industry, with a focus on broker-dealers and private equity funds. Servicing a variety of financial services clients, including broker-dealers, private equity funds, family offices, middle-market, investment managers, FCMs, and institutional investors, he is actively involved with regulatory consulting and assisting clients with structuring and regulatory matters especially during the start-up phase.
John is well known in the industry for his broker-dealer expertise, having provided expert testimony in addition to his long-term interactions with the various regulatory agencies. John has presided over the annual Broker-Dealer Conferences sponsored by The Foundation for Accounting Education and assisted and consulted with various regulatory bodies at the request of clients, inclusive of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, and U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, John was most recently an audit partner at KPMG in the financial services practice.
