Experience

Larry Schwegel is a partner with over 25 years of tax experience working in large regional and national public accounting firms. He holds a wealth of knowledge across various industries, including real estate, law, healthcare, manufacturing, communications, software development, and equipment leasing. 

Larry has extensive experience with closely-held businesses and related individual high-level tax planning. He performs special consulting projects for publicly-held companies and venture capital firms.

Larry represents and negotiates on behalf of his clients, as needed, in examination proceedings before federal, state, and local taxing authorities. His broad range of tax work includes US domestic and international strategic tax planning, research and compliance, ASC 740 and FIN 48 review and planning, and advising clients about complex business decisions.

Previously, Larry was a senior tax manager at D&H Global Tax Group, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2018.
