Experience
Luis is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Commercial Tax Services Practice with more than 30 years of experience in accounting, including three years in auditing at a Big Four firm.
Luis has extensive experience offering guidance to clients on accounting and tax matters, business acquisitions, sales, and valuations. He also provides litigation support services to attorneys, including calculations on loss of earnings, business valuations, divorce matters, contractual disputes, and searches for hidden assets. His audit, review, accounting, and tax work spans small to large closely held entities across a range of industries, including legal and medical professional service corporations, manufacturing, real estate, retail, and healthcare.
Previously, Luis was the president and managing partner of Sharff, Wittmer, Kurtz, Jackson & Diaz (SWKJD), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2026.
