She specializes in audits, reviews, compilations, and consultation on financial reporting, technical accounting matters, and internal controls. May is known for her strong client relationships, leading with clear communication and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, helping her connect with and serve a diverse client base. May has mentored and developed audit staff throughout her career and continues to play an active role in their growth.

Previously, May worked as an audit director at Sharff, Wittmer, Kurtz, Jackson & Diaz (SWKJD), which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2026. During her tenure, she advanced through multiple roles, developed long-standing client relationships, and contributed to firmwide process improvements, including leading the transition to electronic documentation, reviewing and improving quality management policies and procedures, and supporting teams through the adoption of new accounting standards and tools. Earlier in her career, May worked as an audit associate at a Big Four firm in Miami, FL.
