Michael is a director in Citrin Cooperman's Franchise and Technology Industry Practices, where he works with franchisors, franchisees, multi-unit operators, and technology companies on financial reporting, assurance, technical accounting, internal controls, and accounting and business matters. As a CPA and Certified Franchise Executive (CFE), he helps clients address financial and operational challenges while building the processes, reporting, and foundation needed to support growth and expansion.

With more than 10 years of experience serving privately held and middle-market businesses, he works with organizations ranging from emerging franchise brands and technology startups to established franchisors and multi-unit businesses. His experience spans a variety of industries, including restaurants, education, sports and recreation, real estate, fintech, and technology.

In addition to providing audit and assurance services, he works closely with management teams on accounting, reporting, process improvement, and technology initiatives. He has a particular focus on helping franchise organizations strengthen their finance and reporting processes, improve reporting, streamline operations, and prepare for their next stage of growth.
