Sara balances technical requirements with practical considerations when advising clients through the complex multi-state tax landscape. Her experience includes income tax compliance and consulting, tax provision assistance, nexus and taxability reviews, indirect tax compliance and consulting, indirect tax automation services, buy-side and sell-side due diligence and exposure analysis, voluntary disclosure assistance, and multi-state audit defense. She has experience advising clients in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, construction, retail, and technology.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Sara advised on state and local tax issues at national accounting firms and a Fortune 500 multinational company.

Sara and her husband Sean are parents to an active teenage son, Jack. An avid hockey family, you will often find Sara in the stands cheering on one of her son’s hockey teams. When not at the rink, Sara enjoys spending time with friends or relaxing at home with her family and their two labs, Milo and Ollie, and cat, Chloe.
