Sumoj is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s Advisory Practice. He is an experienced professional with more than 25 years of experience in product, portfolio, and technology management.
Sumoj has significant experience in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors, as well as management consulting. He has played a key role in establishing innovation and portfolio governance frameworks to facilitate new products, develop and deploy new products, services and digital transformations. He has managed, developed, and expanded a range of large-scale digital solutions and ecosystems deployed by clients worldwide. Sumoj’s knowledge includes emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, cloud architecture and deployment, and mobile app development. His primary focus is in product management, including strategic product management, product discovery, product marketing, and lean experimentation.
Before joining Citrin Cooperman, Sumoj served as vice president of product management at a global corporate travel accommodations provider. Prior to that, he was head of portfolio and product management for a major consulting organization in the Netherlands and was part of the global innovation team. Sumoj has also held senior product management roles at a leading media and technology group, where he helped shape the design, development and deployment of broadcast, streaming services and media content security.
