Philip Baker and Shawn Howard Named Washingtonian Top Financial Advisers


We are pleased to announce that Partners Philip Baker and Shawn Howard were named Washingtonian 'Top Financial Advisers.' The full list was featured in the December 17, 2020, issue of the magazine.

This list recognizes the top financial advisers in the DC Metro area. After hundreds of local financial experts are surveyed for recommendations, the magazine’s staff conducts extensive research to determine the top advisers. The nominees with the strongest recommendations are chosen.

Philip Baker is a partner in the firm's Bethesda, Maryland office, bringing his vast experience to clients in various industries including healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, distribution, and real estate, among others. His specialties include sophisticated tax research, planning, and preparation, estate planning, business planning and consulting, litigation support, and wealth management.

Shawn Howard is a tax partner and co-practice leader of the firm's Government Contracting practice in the firm's Bethesda, Maryland office. He has extensive experience providing various tax services including the review of federal and multi-state tax returns, and tax strategies for a variety of domestic and international clients, including government contractors, professional services firms, technology companies, and private equity firms.
