Experience

Alan M. Willinger is a partner with a broad range of experience encompassing the areas of individual, partnership, and corporate tax law with particular emphasis on planning for closely-held businesses and their owners.

Alan’s other areas of specialization include real estate taxation, representation before the Internal Revenue Service and State and Local agencies, preparation of ruling requests to the Internal Revenue Service, corporate restructuring and reorganizations, trust and estate planning, family planning, and business succession planning. Included among his clients are those in the fields of envelope manufacturing, securities brokerage, insurance, and real estate, in addition to modeling agencies, trade contractors, apparel, and other textile producers.

Previously, Allan was a partner and co-chair of the Trust and Estates Service Group at Gettry Marcus, CPA, P.C. which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2023. Prior to joining Gettry Marcus Alan was the former managing partner and head of the tax department of a top 100 firm.
