Brian is a partner and Citrin Cooperman’s National Tax Office Leader based out of Bethesda, MD. He is an experienced professional with over 25 years of experience as a tax advisor in public accounting.
Brian’s practice encompasses individual, corporate, pass-through, and international tax matters. He specializes in public and private equity, debt financing and restructuring, derivatives, hybrid financial instruments, foreign currency transactions, real estate, and bankruptcy tax. He offers guidance to clients across industries on compliance, information reporting, accounting methods, controversy, and policy formulation. Additionally, Brian has authored multiple articles and teaches courses on the taxation of financial and corporate transactions.
Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Brian worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and RSM as a tax partner in Washington, DC.
