Experience

Dan Ginsburg is a principal at Citrin Cooperman and currently serves as the firm’s corporate communications leader. He has led communications and public affairs efforts for more than 30 years at some of the world’s leading corporate, government, and agency organizations. Dan oversees a team of individuals responsible for managing the firm’s internal communications, media relations, executive visibility, and crisis communications. He is based out of Citrin Cooperman’s New York City office.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman in 2024, Dan served as public affairs leader for professional services firm RSM where he was responsible for the firm’s public relations, employee communications, crisis / issues management, public policy, innovation, ESG, DEI, and industry communications.

Previously, Dan led a 20-person team managing internal, external, and crisis communications for Big Four professional services firm KPMG. This followed several years providing media relations, media training, corporate image, crisis, and internal communications counsel to many of the world’s largest and well-known brands while serving as senior vice president and general manager of Environics Communications, a mid-sized communications firm, and as senior vice president and New York technology practice leader of Porter Novelli, a top-ten global public relations agency.

Earlier in his career, Dan served as senior correspondent and chief speechwriter to Rhode Island Governor, Lincoln Almond, was a research assistant at the Center for State Policy Research, a legislative consulting firm, and served as a special assistant to U.S. Representative Jerry Huckaby, where he focused extensively on congressional reapportionment issues for the State of Louisiana.
