Daniel Jaszka is a partner in the firm’s Chicago, IL office. He provides significant tax consulting and compliance services for clients in a variety of industries, including real estate investment funds, hospitality, and professional services firms. Dan has over 40 years of tax experience.

Dan possesses research skills in domestic, state, and local tax laws. He ensures that privately held businesses and high net worth individuals take full advantage of potential tax savings through proper structure and planning. Dan is a notable advisor in technical matters related to “pass-through” entities, particularly partnerships and Subchapter S corporations. He possesses specific skills and in-depth knowledge relating to reorganizations, dispositions and exchanges, foreclosure, and more.

Previously, Dan was the firmwide partner-in-charge of tax and business services at Shepard Schwartz & Harris LLP, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2022.
