Experience

David Dalfonzo serves as a director in the Business Management and Family Office Practice.  In his role, David puts his experience in audits, administration, operations, compliance, investor relations, technology, and pricing to best use by developing strategies and improving processes to drive business performance across financial services and family office client bases.

David began his career in public accounting with a specialty in hedge funds (for domestic and offshore hedge funds, fund of funds, and private equity funds). Most recently, he was the controller, director, and associate partner of a prominent, multi-billion-dollar New York-based trading and investment firm where he had primary oversight responsibility for the accounting and reporting function. David was critical in both strategic decision-making and maintaining high standards through the implementation of controls and procedures to support a sophisticated, multi-dimensional back office. His passion for technology helped fuel the development of various proprietary accounting and reporting systems designed to streamline the use of company-wide data and reporting.

David was a senior manager in the Advisory Services, Family Office Services Practice for nearly six years at Untracht Early, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2022.
