Elon Altman is a Director in the Music Economics and Valuation Services Practice with nearly 20 years of experience in performance income review and forecasting, music copyright litigation economics, music licensing, production music libraries, and valuations of music publishing and recorded music catalogs. He works closely with a wide range of the clients, including major and independent music publishers, music industry trade organizations, and private equity firms investing in music.
Elon’s experience in the music industry began in 2005, where he spent 12 out of 17 years as a Senior Economist, at Massarsky Consulting, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2022.

Elon is a working stand-up comedian in New York and performs several nights of the week at various comedy clubs around town. He was the winner of New York’s Got Talent in 2017 and a finalist in the 2021 Boston Comedy Festival.
Elon is also a big fan of music, especially classic rock, and is the co-host of the popular podcast “Billy Joel A to Z.”
