James LeBlanc is a director in the firm’s Rhode Island office. He has over fifteen years of experience in leading and directing the financial operations of national and regional companies and providing accounting and auditing services to privately-held companies in various industries while previously working for regional and national accounting firms.
James’s areas of expertise include auditing privately-held companies and employee benefit plans, financial reporting, budgeting, management of cash and investments, financial analysis, strategic planning, and cultivating client relationships.
Prior to his role at Citrin Cooperman, he was the chief financial officer at Silk Title Co. He also previously worked as a director of accounting at AAA Northeast and also worked at regional and national accounting firms.

James was elected in November 2020 to serve a four-year term on the Coventry Town Council, representing the constituents of District 3. Coventry is the largest town in Rhode Island, with water and land area of 79.8 square miles, has a population of approximately 36K, and has a budget of approximately $112M per year.
Outside the Office
James highly values his family and friends, and enjoys watching the Bruins, Celtics, Patriots, and Red Sox. He spends the majority of his free time attending Town Council meetings, community events, his daughters’ swim classes, and traveling around New England with his family. James, his wife Danielle, and their four daughters live in Coventry, Rhode Island.
