Joe is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s Livingston, NJ office. For over 25 years, he has been advising clients on a wide variety of accounting, tax, and business operations issues. His practice mainly focuses on automotive dealerships, but he also has clients in real estate and construction.

Joe has worked in many different positions at automotive dealerships before becoming a CPA. In his career, as a parts manager, office manager and CFO, Joe has gained extensive knowledge of the operations of the sales, parts and service departments as well as the responsibility and challenges of the automotive dealership sector and dealer principals. 

As a specialist in business consulting, Joe has helped business owners resolve complex issues and improve business operations. He has comprehensive knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and has consulted with dealers on how to maximize the efficient use of these systems. His other services include audit and accounting, strategic planning, benchmarking to improve profitability, consulting on mergers and acquisitions, and tax planning.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, he worked at a New York accounting firm that specialized in automotive dealerships.
