John Cronin is a partner in the firm's Braintree, Massachusetts office. John has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, providing accounting, auditing, and tax services to public and privately-held companies in various industries. John is significantly focused on the quality control of attest engagements including engagement strategy development.

John has extensive experience in providing attest services to clients in the manufacturing, real estate, retail, technology, and service industries. He has also worked on employee benefit plan audits.

John has also consulted with public and larger middle market private companies on complex accounting matters including assistance with purchase accounting, share based compensation, revenue recognition (ASC 606) implementation, and periodic filing requirements for publicly-held companies.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, John was a Shareholder at a national accounting firm. In addition to his audit engagement responsibilities, he assisted the national office in several roles including a member of the Audit Methodology Steering Committee, Professional Services Group, and National Training Team.
