As a partner of audit and litigation support, Joseph DiPietro brings over 20 years of experience to Citrin Cooperman’s New York office. He has extensive expertise providing audit, review, and accounting services to privately held business clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, importing, publishing, construction, real estate, investment partnerships, professional services, internet services, and software developers. Helping growing businesses to adopt accounting principles (generally accepted in the United States of America) and implement appropriate accounting policies and procedures, clients benefit from his proficient and practical approach to enhancing their financial reporting requirements.

Joseph also provides litigation support, forensic accounting, and investigative accounting services to law firms, including analysis of financial transactions, and reconstruction of accounting records. In addition, he assists attorneys representing individuals and corporations in connection with criminal and civil litigation matters. With a wealth of knowledge in both forensic analysis and business, he is highly skilled in helping attorneys resolve complex litigation issues for their clients.

Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Joseph was a director of audit and litigation support at Leon M. Reimer & Co., P.C. He was also previously an Audit Senior in the Financial Services Practice of a Big Four accounting firm, providing attest services for international financial service clients.
