Michael J. Kline, a tax partner, has more than 30 years of experience providing a wide array of tax and consulting services. As one of the leaders in the Philadelphia office’s Tax Services Group, he serves as an advisor to clients in a range of industries, including health care, manufacturing, distribution, staffing, real estate, and technology. He also heads the firm’s Tax Quality Control Committee.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Michael spent seven years at a Big Four accounting firm.
As a tax specialist with a deep focus in the real estate community and closely held businesses, Michael consults with clients on issues including ownership structure, entity decisions, and multi-state tax and succession planning. He has a wealth of experience dealing with partnership and individual tax issues, as well as matters pertaining to corporations.
Michael also has a deep expertise representing clients in front of the IRS, as well as state and local government agencies such as the Pennsylvania Board of Appeals, the Pennsylvania Board of Finance and Revenue, and the Philadelphia Tax Review Board.

Community Involvement
