Michael is a partner with over 20 years of experience providing accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services to privately held companies within the middle market. As an experienced accounting and attest partner with strong tax knowledge, Michael’s background has positioned him as a true trusted advisor that can recognize client needs, identify opportunities, and understand the overall impact the firm’s integrated services can have on the long-term goals of his clients.

He works with clients primarily in the manufacturing/distributing, professional services, franchise, engineering and technology industries for privately held businesses, including multi-national companies. His ability to understand his clients’ businesses together with his knowledge of accounting standards and experience dealing with complex financial accounting matters enable him to assist clients in proper accounting and financial reporting of such matters. Additionally, he has extensive experience in assisting early-stage companies with establishing accounting policies and procedures to enable them to become U.S. GAAP compliant.

In addition to Michael’s client service, he is an integration leader which supports the firm’s inorganic growth strategy as it expands its footprint in geography, service, and industry. Michael is also passionate about ensuring that the future of the firm and the profession provide for equal opportunity and fairness in the workplace, which is demonstrated this through his Long Island office co-leadership of the firm’s CC EDGE program, the culture change program to empower gender equality and diversity within the firm.
