Paul is a partner in Citrin Cooperman’s Entertainment, Music, and Sports Industry Practice and is based out of the firm’s New York City office. With over 25 years of experience, Paul is a seasoned professional in providing tax planning and advisory services to his clients.
As both a CPA and an attorney, Paul brings a unique perspective and looks to provide a holistic approach to clients’ needs covering all stages of their careers, ranging from minimizing the tax impact on day-to-day cash needs to navigating the tax effects of a desired estate plan. Paul has extensive experience in guiding clients through the United States (U.S.) tax obstacles of working abroad and assisting foreign nationals with establishing the best foundation for working in the U.S. He has also successfully represented clients in IRS and state and local tax inquiries throughout his career. Additionally, Paul provides tax advisory services to film and television productions related to both the project’s intellectual property rights and state film tax credit incentives.
Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Paul was a partner and tax practice leader at a New York City-based CPA firm, with a focus on clients in the entertainment and film production industries.
