Shanee is a tax director in Citrin Cooperman's Livingston, New Jersey office, with more than 18 years of experience managing tax compliance and tax provision for business corporations and pass-through entities. She has worked both from the Company perspective, to continually streamline and improve a global tax department; and from the consulting perspective, to establish and develop strong client relationships while planning for her clients' future.

Shanee's business tax expertise focuses on the areas of tax compliance, tax provision, tax process automation, and tax technology. She has specialized industry expertise in manufacturing and distribution, restaurant and hospitality, entertainment, and cannabis.

Shanee is a self-driven professional who demonstrates her ability to carry out key initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders.

Shanee's prior experience includes public accounting for a "Big Four" firm, as well as several years as a senior-level tax professional for NBCUniversal reviewing corporate income tax returns and delivering high-level partner allocations, forms K-1, partners’ equity, and partnership tax returns comprising 300+ subsidiaries, lower tier partnerships, and external partnership investments.
