Stephen Bauer is a partner and provides accounting, tax, and consulting services to a diversified client base including closely held companies, family-owned businesses, investment funds, and high net-worth individuals.

Stephen advises both commercial and residential landlords, developers, and hotel operators on a variety of matters including sales and acquisitions, section 1031 like-kind exchanges, start-ups and dissolutions, tax planning, basis adjustments due to section 754 elections, estate planning, and other significant transactions. He is experienced in advising clients on issues related to the final tangible property regulations and qualified opportunity zone funds.

Previously, Stephen was a partner at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C., which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2023.
