Experience

Vlada is a partner and the Regional Tax Practice Leader for the firm's Southern California offices. She is an experienced professional with over 14 years in private industry and public accounting serving clients of all sizes and is based out of the Woodland Hills office.

Vlada is a CPA, providing a wide variety of tax compliance and consulting services to private and public clients in a number of specialized industries, including technology (both hardware and software), manufacturing and distribution, consumer products, and healthcare. Her technical experience encompasses federal and state income tax compliance, including ASC 740 income tax accounting, and international reporting. In addition, Vlada assists clients with accounting method changes, notice resolutions, and multiple state entry and withdrawal processes. She has also participated in state nexus studies and VDAs, and she has experience preparing research and development credit calculations and IRS audit support.

Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Vlada worked at two mid-size global accounting firms as a tax principal and managing director. During this time, Vlada worked with diverse client service teams in developing and delivering strategic, operational, and technical tax services. Vlada has consulted with clients on a wide variety of corporate tax provision, compliance, and planning issues, including accounting for uncertain tax positions (ASC 740-10), stock-based compensation, tax accounting methods, transfer pricing, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
