Experience

Brooke is a partner in the firm’s Portfolio Valuation Practice and has over a decade of experience relating to debt and equity valuations for investments owned by business development companies, private debt and equity funds, co-investment funds, venture capital funds and hedge funds. She assists her clients in meeting the valuation requirements under FASB ASC 820, Fair Value Measurements and Disclosures.

Brooke also has extensive experience in the valuation of business enterprises, debt and equity securities, intangible assets and complex securities for various financial reporting and tax purposes. Brooke has advised clients in valuing illiquid equity securities in complex capital structures. Her client engagements have spanned across a variety of industries including technology, life sciences, consumer and retail products, real estate, and others.

Previously, Brooke was a managing director at Murray Devine, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2022. Prior to joining Murray Devine, Brooke was a manager in Ernst & Young, LLP’s Transaction Advisory Services Practice. She managed the preparation of valuations and financial analysis of transactions, businesses, intangible assets, and equity interests for strategic, financial reporting and tax purposes. Brooke began her career as an engineer providing construction consulting services.
