Christopher Imperiale is an audit partner with more than 15 years of experience in public accounting. Chris specializes in providing both audit and tax services to closely held businesses in the real estate and hospitality sectors and is one of the firm’s key advisors to law practices.

For closely held businesses, his services include:

• Preparing and reviewing GAAP, income tax basis, and special purpose financial statements
• Reviewing partnership and corporate tax returns
• Providing tax planning and projection services to businesses and their owners
• Reviewing operations and internal controls to identify areas of risk and develop ways to strengthen controls and increase efficiency
• Reviewing and analyzing partnership agreements, commercial leases, financing agreements, and loan covenants

For law practices, his expertise extends to:

• Examining the financial and economic impact of partnership agreements
• Assisting in reviewing candidates for mergers and lateral partner additions
• Evaluating partner compensation systems, succession plans, and performing profitability analysis
