Experience
Jed P. Dallek is a partner and a trusted advisor to real estate owners, developers, and operators across various industries. Jed provides his clients with a unique perspective on tax issues that may impact their businesses. He has extensive experience in the structuring of transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of real estate, as well as debt restructuring, workouts of troubled real estate companies, and tax-free 1031 exchanges of real estate.
Jed attributes a portion of his diverse experience to his tenure with national public accounting firms like Main Hurdman and American Express Tax & Business Services. He was also a founding member of the American Express Blue Box Council, which was created to identify business opportunities in the private and public sectors. In addition, he was a member of the American Express Tax & Business Services National Real Estate Steering Committee, as well as former chair of a National Association of Accounting Firm Real Estate Steering Committee.
Previously, Jed was a partner at Gettry Marcus, CPA, P.C. which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2023.
