Jude Coard is a tax partner with more than 20 years of experience in public accounting. He specializes in advising law and other professional service firms, private equity and hedge funds, and real estate organizations.

Jude consults on the tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations and develops tax deferral and reduction strategies that integrate the firm’s business and personal financial needs of the individual partners. He advises his clients on structuring tax-efficient business entities, examines the operational structure to identify ways to reduce tax exposure and gain tax advantages, and evaluates the tax and economic outcomes of business transactions. Jude is also highly skilled in devising wealth protection and preservation strategies for high net worth partners.

His broad-based consulting experience extends to ensuring that compliance requirements are fulfilled while identifying tax advantages, inbound tax planning and compliance for foreign companies, structuring cross-border business investments, and guiding foreign nationals and resident aliens working in the United States on tax issues, as well as U.S. citizens temporarily working abroad.

Previously, Jude was a partner at Berdon LLP, which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2023.
