Michael Meilak is an audit principal with more than 20 years of experience providing audit, review, compilation, advisory, and tax services to clients of all sizes, operating in diverse industries, such as real estate, professional service, distribution and wholesale, construction, and franchisor organizations.

Mike works closely with clients to provide value-added advisory services to address both current and emerging accounting and tax-related issues. His responsibilities including executive all phases of audit and other attest engagements, including planning, program execution, and client relations; preparing GAAP and income-tax basis financial statements and required disclosures for audits, reviews, and compilations; and audits of tax certiorari filings and certifications of NYC J-51 applications. In addition, Mike performs ratio and variance analysis, reviews internal controls and recommends improvements, and reviews quarterly financial information. Mike oversees the preparation and review of complex tax returns for individuals and partnerships, as well as carries out agreed upon procedures.
