Michael is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s Audit and Attest Practice with over 20 years of experience performing audits, reviews, and complications for a wide range of services primarily in the middle-market industries including manufacturing and distribution, real estate, construction contractors, retail and employee benefit plans.
Previously, Michael was a senior manager at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C., which joined Citrin Cooperman in 2023. Prior to joining Gettry Marcus, Michael was a senior manager at Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP, where he gained experience in both audit and tax, assisting a wide range of privately held middle market businesses and their owners with everything from corporate audits to personal income tax compliance.

Michael lends his support to Sunrise Day Camp, the only dedicated summer day camp in the nation for children with cancer and their siblings. Michael has also been the team leader and has participated in events including Walk to Fight Alzheimer's, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Long Island and Relay for Life,.
Outside the Office
Michael likes to spend time with his wife, travel, stay in shape with Spartan races and play with his cavapoo. He enjoys following his favorite sports teams, Mets, Jets and the Knicks.
